The Rotring 300 Mechanical Pencil 2 mm in Black is a lightweight clutch pencil built for bold sketching, drafting, and everyday writing. Its 2.0 mm HB lead gives you strong, confident lines with excellent control.

The hexagonal plastic barrel keeps the pencil balanced in the hand and stops it rolling off your desk. A clutch-grip mechanism holds the thick lead firmly, while a sharpener hidden under the push button lets you re-point the lead anytime. An adjustable lead-hardness indicator shows which grade is loaded, and the signature Rotring red ring completes the look.

Key Features

  • 2.0 mm clutch mechanism for a firm, controlled lead grip.
  • Lightweight hexagonal plastic body that resists rolling.
  • Built-in lead sharpener under the push button.
  • Adjustable lead-hardness grade indicator.
  • Comes preloaded with HB lead.
  • Signature Rotring red ring detail.

A clutch pencil uses jaws that grip a thick lead. Pressing the button opens the jaws so the lead slides out to the length you want; releasing it locks the lead in place.

Pull off the push button to reveal the built-in sharpener, insert the lead tip and rotate the pencil to bring it back to a point.

It is a small adjustable window that you set to the grade of lead loaded, such as HB or 2B, so you can tell your pencils apart at a glance.

Yes, the Rotring 300 comes preloaded with a 2.0 mm HB lead, ready to use.

Its thick lead suits sketching, shading, drafting and bold note-taking, making it a good pick for students, artists and designers.
