Mare in Italian means sea — and the blue-black resin is a direct homage to the deep, slow-moving waters of the southern Italian coastline, where the sea is never quite one colour and always something more. The original-shaped Gioia clip and decorative rings frame a body that is simultaneously bold and serene.

At its heart sits a custom JoWo steel nib available in Fine, Medium and Broad — paired with a smooth piston filler for generous ink capacity and easy maintenance.
